Romantic Intimate Garden Party | Long Island, New York

Can you think of anything more romantic than a secret garden party after eloping with your closet family and friends?

I recently traveled to New York to design and style this gorgeous tablescape for a dinner party at a private home. I designed the dinner in the middle of the home’s garden, using the gorgeous natural greenery as the backdrop, and the ancient dogwood tree to create an intimate little alfresco dining space. Although the meal was simple, I wanted the tablescape to feel grand. The organic floral table runner by Something Blue Florals and thi gorgeous wrought iron table and chairs were just one of the many aspects of this stunning tablescape.

I love intimate weddings and events for so many reasons, but my very favorite is seeing a couple truly relax and enjoy the moment. As the sunset in the evening, the candles burned a bit brighter, the fireflies began to buzz, and laughter filled the cotton candy-colored sky. It was pure magic.
